4th & 5th
Did you know that 60% of Christians made the decision of salvation before the age of 12? We take that statistic seriously, and feel that it is crucial to attack the serious issues that kids in 4th and 5th grade face today. Our goal is to equip kids with the biblical knowledge of God's love and power, so that as they leave adolescence and enter into their teenage years, they have the armor to fight against peer pressure. But we make sure we have lots of fun in the process!
Small Group
Class
At this age, peer pressure is huge! That's why our small group lessons give kids hands-on tools to apply biblical principles directly to their lives. Teachers facilitate games and activities based on God's truth, (Bible Story, Main Point, and Bible Verse), why that truth is important today (relevance), and how to apply that truth to their own life (application).
Although our main emphasis is to equip kids with the tools they need to live faith-filled lives, we also encourage kids to use their gifts and talents. 5th graders are eligible to serve in Kidz Kingdom on the worship team, as assistants or with the sign-in team. It's a great way for them to start putting their faith into action! Even though they're getting older, they still appreciate getting rewards for Godly behavior! Kids can still earn Bible Bucks for bringing their bible, bringing a friend and learning their weekly verse.
We want our 5th graders to leave Kidz Kingdom with a firm foundation - working with parents to reinforce biblical principles!
